About Me

I have always been sports mad, to watch and to play. I fixed my own poor posture, owed to years of hockey and kayaking, through Pilates.

I am deeply interested in longevity - how to keep the mind and body as healthy as possible for as long as possible. The key to longevity, I feel, is to live a balanced, playful life whilst being sensible too. I’m very grateful that I’ve been able to teach Pilates as my full time job because if I wasn’t teaching it, I’d be doing it anyway.

Other fun facts :

  • Have a BA Hons in Photographic Art from back in the day when it was all analogue and cool.

  • I used to teach aerobics. No one can grapevine like me!

  • Can’t decide if I love Sinead or Dolores more, so I celebrate them both.

  • Can juggle with hands and feet.

  • Have done two round-the-world trips, one budget, one boujie. Balance is key!

  • Table tennis ninja.

  • I play football (soccer). Too embarrassed to say what team I support these days.

  • Moderately obsessed with psychology books.

  • Armchair detective

  • My favourite places are the sea, Istanbul and the kitchen.
